Astonishing bid for a 1948 Tucker!

Do you remember the 1948 Tucker?

Here are some important features of this car: one of 51 built, the third Tucker pilot-production car, formerly owned by Bill Pettit and movie legend George Lucas, extensively and authentically restored, with notable attention to drivability.

Maybe, the only fact that it was owned by George Lucas can have driven the price a little bit too high, but the interesting fact is that this actual Tucker #1003 was offered at another auction just a few years ago and was a no-sale with a top bid of $220,000. This buyer could have saved a bunch of dollars if he’d bought it there.

When you will know for how much it has been sold, then you will realize that this car has proven to have been a very good investment for the previous owner!

Check it out the amazing bidding price in the video below!
